The Hungry Squirrel

Early one morning  near the edge of the forest. A small squirrel was gathering nuts. The squirrel sensed something was  wrong. Cautiously he lifted his tail and slowly raised his head. Danger! With his paws planted firmly and rigid his fear he was stuck trying to find his nuts.

The hawk was trying to get the squirrel. The hawk flew down chasing the squirrel.

Then the squirrel scampered into the forest.

However the hawk flew down and grabbed the squirrel by his bushy red tail. The squirrel broke free and ran to the safety of his home. The hawk flew away.
